HCM Industry Veteran Bill Filip Joins Gotham Growth Group as Partner

Gotham Growth Group is pleased to announce that Bill Filip has joined the firm as a Partner, bringing decades of experience in HCM M&A and strategic advisory.

Prior to joining Gotham Growth Group, Mr. Filip served as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Delancey Street Partners, where he led the firm’s Business Services and Technology practice, including its HCM sector focus. Earlier in his career, he was a founder and one of the original partners of Baird Venture Partners, where he directed the firm’s Business Services and Technology investing activities, with a particular focus on services, outsourcing, and SaaS technology models within the HCM ecosystem. At Baird Venture Partners, Mr. Filip played a key role in fund formation, team recruitment, investment strategy, transaction execution, and portfolio oversight.

Mr. Filip began his career in investment banking at Robert W. Baird & Co., advising clients on corporate finance transactions, including public and private equity financings and mergers & acquisitions across business services and technology sectors.

His investing and board experience includes companies such as HireRight (Nasdaq: HIRE), Cielo RPO, PayChoice Payroll, High Street Partners EOR, InsideTrack, SmartTime Software, Patina Solutions, and GlobalPay, among others. He previously served as a board representative to the Wisconsin Technology Council.
